A little about me

I'm a software engineer and system architect with two years of production experience shipping platform and personalization infrastructure. Most recently I led the Catalogue and Contextualization engines at Helium, owning them end to end — from Shopify API integration and backend orchestration through to the dashboards people actually used.

My work tends to live where the interesting constraints are. I migrated a core service to Bun and Elysia for a 60% throughput gain, designed ClickHouse pipelines with batch-upsert logic to keep multi-terabyte datasets queryable in real time, and built a Gen-AI pipeline on Gemini and Fal.ai that synthesizes ad intent into personalized UI at request time.

Before that I cut a homepage's initial payload from 58MB to under 3MB — a 95% reduction — which remains the single most satisfying diff I've ever shipped.

I'm now in Erlangen, Germany, reading for an M.Sc in Information and Communication Technology at FAU — deepening the systems and signal-processing foundations underneath the work I've been doing empirically for the last few years.

I care about systems that stay maintainable after the launch, and I like working with people who'd rather fix the root cause than the symptom. If you're building something with hard constraints, I'd like to hear about it.
